The Chinese side arranges transport to the agreed handover point. DINA receives the cargo in Primorye, verifies its parameters, selects Russian transport and manages delivery to the consignee.

Upgraded Pogranichny checkpoint

Reopened after reconstruction on 29 June 2026. Vehicle lanes increased from 8 to 22, with design capacity of up to 1,300 vehicles per day.

Operating transport channels

The Pogranichny–Suifenhe road crossing and Grodekovo rail hub form working border infrastructure within the Primorye-1 corridor.

Oversized-cargo access

The upgraded checkpoint has a reinforced road base designed to accommodate vehicles carrying oversized cargo.

How the handover works

    Chinese domestic leg

    The factory, exporter or Chinese carrier delivers the cargo to the agreed handover point.

  2. 02
    Border and documents

    The carrier and customs representative process the cargo through the selected road or rail channel.

  3. 03
    Reception in Ussuriysk

    We verify condition and dimensions and arrange a yard, warehouse, transloading and securing when required.

  4. 04
    Delivery across Russia

    We dispatch a low-loader, platform, flatbed or curtain-sider and control the Russian leg through unloading.

Practical answers

Does DINA collect from factories in China?+

DINA’s core responsibility is the Russian leg from the agreed handover point in Primorye. The Chinese leg is arranged by the Chinese side or separately agreed partners.

Can cargo be stored temporarily?+

Yes, when the cargo type, dimensions and storage requirements suit the selected facility. Availability and duration are confirmed before dispatch to the border.

How is the border crossing selected?+

It depends on origin, cargo type, documents, transport mode, current operating hours and actual checkpoint load.

When can the final rate be confirmed?+

After the route, weight, dimensions, loading method, transloading, permits and consignee-site conditions are verified.
